There's a bit of work on verifiable credentials for health as Ty said for vaccine and test certificates. I don't know where Australia is but in NZ they're finding it difficult to roll out a fully realised ecosystem. A distributed identity for government is looking positive, there is a bunch of work underway and good engagement with the sector through the NZ digital identity forum. Ty is UD a member of that?
